you want to get out
to break your immortal soul.
commit to blaming God
push him over
you are leaving Him,
he can't follow you.
and now he's angry
you are an ignorant child
confused,in denial
(You're a liar, weak
you're drunk, you burn.)
he doesn't love you anymore,
you're acting stupid
you aren't enough
and he has the power to
bury you forever.
It was late on a Sunday afternoon, although you couldn't tell that by looking at the position of the sun as the sky was completely covered by fluffy grey clouds. It wasn't raining, just threatening to; a constant reminder that it wasn't safe to go out without an umbrella. A reminder that Jane had not just ignored but outright flouted. She'd taken it upon herself to walk to the shops in what can only be described as a "tube top" and "miniskirt", and the cold weather had already formed goosebumps all over her skin. She ignored them as she did the clouds.
The rain, naturally, didn't start up until she was already halfway to where she was going.
